ABOUT

Our Daily Brett Market & Café is located in South Calgary/Marda Loop. We are a retail market and full-service 50-seat cafe with a thoughtful selection of retail grocery items, lifestyle products and grab & go foods. We are looking to add servers and market staff to our team as we head into a busy SPRING/SUMMER season.

SERVER DESCRIPTION

-Provide Excellent customer service
-Work closely with RESTAURANT managers to ensure all customers are having a memorable experience.
-PRovide Wine/Cocktail/Beer/Coffee Service
-Full understanding of café operations and all associated menus

-Perform opening/closing and side duties

MARKET STAFF DESCRIPTION
-Work closely with market manager and assistant manager of retail

-Assist customers at checkout -Provide excellent customer service

-Receive product, price and date and stock/marchandise shelves during slower times and on set order days

-Full understanding of Market operations and all associated products/services -Perform opening/closing and side duties

CANDIDATES MUST:

-have strong customer service skills

-have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced service / hospitality role (preferably an independently owned café or restaurant)

-Have Pro-Serve certificate

-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Work well on a team under pressure
-wine knowledge preferred, specifically low intervention wines.

-Be adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high volume work environment

-have an interest and knowledge in low intervention wines, cocktails and coffee
