COOKING DEMO WITH SOME LITTLE LOCALS

We finally got our hands on a rental vehicle this week. An old Chevy Blazer. Needless to say, we’ve been doing less blogging and more exploring the island. This week was a whirlwind and kicked off with a visit from some elementary school kids who came to visit the farm. The tour culminated with a cooking lesson from Brett, who taught the kids “how to turn avocados into chocolate.” Brett prepared a healthier version of the classic chocolate pudding using avocados, cacao powder and honey. The children watched with delight and each student received a personal serving topped with mulberries and black raspberries. The avos and berries were freshly picked from the Greenleaf farm.
