OMETEPE, PART II

After the rather rustic events of the night prior we were craving a grounding, hearty meal and some connection to reality. The Cornerhouse Cafe was the perfect send off from Ometepe. We enjoyed iced lattes, fashion magazines, and classic western meals that incorporated local Nica ingredients. We don’t typically like to eat western-style food when abroad, but sometimes a good plate of poached eggs and house-baked bread just hits the spot.
