We are very excited about the results of our first batch of Kombucha made in Calgary. This morning, we heard a loud “pop” sound in the kitchen and ran in to discover one of the bottles had blown its lid off - a sign that the natural fermentation and effervescence are in full swing. Last night, to celebrate, we had our friend Richard over for a Kombucha tasting. We sampled four flavours: apricot pear, blueberry pomegranate, lemon ginger and and apricot peach. We’re keen to try incorporating Kombucha into summer cocktails and imagine it will be delicious combined with prosescco.
