We’re cultivating our own ‘booch this weekend! Actually it’s been cultivating since last Sunday. It’s our first experiment with making Kombucha and our friend Marta lent us her “mother” mushroom and told us how to make a batch. We patiently waited all week as the mother mushroom worked her magic. Once this process was complete, we added some juice into the mix, deciding on a grape and ginger juice combination with chia seeds. After leaving this on our counter for a healthy 24 hours, we enjoyed our first glass of the finished brew this morning. It’s positively delicious and we are excited to make more!
