After an amazing winter of food adventures, we returned to Calgary one week ago and hit the ground running. Between personal cheffing and a dinner for 80 last night, things have been crazy! Last night’s dinner was Australian themed and was hosted by a wine club west of the city. Having spent some time in Australia when I was 18, I had a lot of fun with this one. I played off of the asian influence in Australia in addition to some classics. As per usual there wasn’t much time for picture taking, but I managed to sneak in a few shots. Not pictured: Aussie Meat Pies made with Vegemite + house-made smoked paprika tomato sauce, grilled chook, and mini lamb burgers with mint walnut chevre.
