Despite the warnings of the weather channel and the threatening grey clouds that blew by in the morning, we had magnificent sunshine and warmth for our second annual pig roast. In my opinion, there’s no better way to spend a summer holiday than outdoors with your friends and family. A few simple key ingredients for a successful party include: great folks, good food, sunshine, music and dancing. This year, we ordered our pig from Broek Acres Pork Farm and served it with homemade kimchee and brown rice. Our friend Billy Friley showed up to serve some of his delicious Village Ice Cream and DJs Hector L’After Gomez and Thats Deep from the Kinfolk Crew kept everyone dancing.
