This is a play on one of the best smoothies we've ever had, served at Horizon Yoga Hotel in Mal Pais, Costa Rica.  In Costa Rica, it was made with fresh mango, papaya and banana grown on the hotel's property.  In our variation, we use B.C. blueberries. This shake has the creaminess of a milkshake with a slight crunchy texture imparted by the cacao nibs and cinnamon stick.  Plus, it's packed with all sorts of nutritional powerhouse ingredients to fuel your day. 


2 C. Blueberries (or any berries, mixed or individual, or mango or papaya)

4 Tbsp. Tahini

20 Cacao Beans  (or nibs will do)

1/2 Banana (Fresh)

2 C. Almond Mylk

1 Cinnamon Stick

1 Tbsp. Alberta Wildflower Honey (Optional)

1 Tbsp. Dried Cranberries (Optional)

How to:

Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
