Perhaps the best part about running a catering company is that you get to play a small part in some very beautiful events. The wedding of our friends Peter and Niki was one of these occasions. After a beautiful ceremony at Christ Church in Elbow Park, Peter, Niki, and their families, hosted guests at the Westinghouse Foundry for a dinner and dance. Guests were greeted with a reception featuring two signature cocktails, cheese and charcuterie, and appetizers like the wild mushroom arancini pictured below. Dinner was served family style with platters of assorted fresh salads, piri piri grilled sockeye salmon, and grilled Alberta flank steak with chimichurri passed amongst guests. Our friends at Metro Vino made sure that no one went thirsty by pairing some spectacular wines with the menu and a late night pizza delivery ensured that guests were well fuelled for a long night of dancing.
The evening was filled with candlelight, live music, good food and drink, and great company and we were delighted to be a part of it. Congratulations you two!
