On August 24, Brett and I were married.
When we started to share the news of our engagement a common question that we received was, "who is going to cater Brett McDermott's wedding"? The answer: Brett McDermott (with a lot of help from our good friend Cody Willis).
Shortly after we said "I do" the champagne started flowing and our friend Stewart Innes spun a motown and soul set as guests snacked on oysters, cheese and charcuterie and other cold bar delights.
It was important to us that our wedding feel intimate like a dinner party at a friend's home (on a grander scale) with lots of wine on every table and family-style sharing plates.
