Things are as dreamy and wonderful in Nicaragua as we had hoped. The days are long and filled with sun, surf, yoga, good food, and great company. The nights are lazy and sometimes and bit boozy, but the conversation is always good. Brett has started working in the kitchen with Ana and Reina. They are the amazing full-time kitchen gals at Maderas Village and they smile a lot. I think all 3 of them are learning from one another and doing lots of laughing about the language barrier. Brett is determined to learn Spanish this month (!) and has had google translator open a lot. So far they have made ricotta cheese together (which was incorporated into a lasagna) as well as stuffed peppers and cultured veggies.
